Of these 30 million sq m of land, more than 19 million sq m is raw land, just under 3 million sq m is zoned land and just over 1 million sq m is land under zoning.
Raw land is what we call an area of land that is not covered by a detailed development plan, but which is nevertheless expected to be developed or built on in the future. Zoned land is land with guaranteed building rights. The plan specifies how a defined area in a municipality or equivalent is to be built on and how land and water areas may be used.
Residential land is land where a detailed development plan permits housing. Once a planning notice has been communicated, the raw land in question moves to an ongoing plan, which we call land under zoning.
