Kilenkrysset is selling 2,500 sq m to the property developer NALYD fastigheter, which will support the hamburger chain Mister York in opening in Strängnäs. On the property Graniten 8, the buyer will carry out construction and sign a lease agreement for Mister York's new 260 sq m concept building, built entirely to the chain's design concept. The property is located in the pleasant business area Biskopskvarn, Strängnäs Municipality. The area lies right next to the E20 and national road 55 and is part of a long-term establishment process. Businesses already established on the site include several fast-food chains and petrol stations, a vehicle inspection centre and a large used-car dealer.
The restaurant in Strängnäs marks a further step in Mister York's rapid expansion across the country. The new unit is built to Mister York's concept building model, where guests will be able to choose between enjoying their food in the generous dining area or collecting it through the restaurant's drive-through. There will also be delivery options such as Foodora, Wolt and Uber Eats. The opening is planned for Q1 2026.

Ahead of the opening, Mister York expects to recruit a committed team of approximately 40-50 employees, made up of full-time, part-time and extra staff. The restaurant will offer generous opening hours every day of the week, including late-night opening, and a wide range of burgers with a focus on high quality. The menu includes Mister York's award-winning burgers, together with a solid range of sides, desserts and coffee. In January 2025, Mister York was named Sweden's Best Burger Chain for the third year in a row by Burgerdudes – the world's largest web platform for reviews of hamburgers and hamburger restaurants.
