Kilenkrysset has signed a lease agreement for an establishment at Solberga Handelsplats, Strängnäs Municipality. The agreement covers a new building on the property Gorsinge 1:83 for Jula, one of Sweden's largest retail chains, with stores and e-commerce in Sweden, Norway, Poland, Finland and Austria.

The building will have an area of approx. 2,400 sq m, including a warehouse area with an office section of approx. 400 sq m. It will have an attractive location directly at the southern entrance to Solberga Handelsplats, a retail area directly adjacent to the E20 and national road 55. A customer parking area adjoins the store directly. Occupancy is scheduled for autumn 2026.

Jula continues to grow, and Strängnäs is a new location that brings the company one step closer to its customers in the Mälardalen region.

– The establishment is an important step in Jula's continued investment in physical retail and means that the company is strengthening its presence not only in Strängnäs but throughout the Mälardalen region. It is an important region, and it is inspiring to become part of the local retail scene there. We have strong faith in this establishment, says Johan Sjöhagra, CEO of Jula.

Everything for the home DIYer – under one roof.

The new store will offer around 15,000 items covering everything from tools and building supplies to home, leisure and garden. The establishment in Strängnäs is part of Jula's long-term expansion plan, in which physical retail continues to play a central role.

– For us, it is important to be where our customers are. We want to make it easy to shop at low prices – and at the same time inspire people to do it themselves, whether the project is small or large, says Johan Sjöhagra.

“We are very pleased to welcome Jula to Strängnäs. With this building, we are now filling the retail park to its full size. The fact that it is an international operator choosing this particular area is of course especially valuable and will benefit the entire retail park,” says Per Heikman, Business Developer at Kilenkrysset.
