A balanced choice of filters

In cooperation with Dinair, we have been able to make an active choice of filter frames in recycled steel instead of plastic for the ventilation units we purchase for our properties.  As a result, in 2023 we contributed to a reduction in CO2 emissions of 11.9 tonnes of CO2 equivalent.

Recycled steel frame – better for the environment

Dinair offers air filters, known as bag filters, with frames made from at least 71% recycled steel. A steel frame is the best environmental choice because material recycling does not generate the greenhouse gases produced by incineration, and the steel is recovered and turned into new products. This option has given us within the Kilenkrysset group the opportunity to install climate-smart filter frames at many of our tenants' premises, something that benefits both the property and those who use it.
