Nattvandrarna Sverige (Night Walkers Sweden) is a non-profit, democratically structured organisation with local groups and associations. The purpose and goal of night walking is to provide adult role models, human support and social security among young people who are out in the evenings and at night. Adults are needed who care, listen to and see young people, can set boundaries and give support and help when needed. The presence of the night walkers prevents crime such as vandalism, violence and drug abuse. We work to create trust and build equal relationships. www.nattvandrarna.se

Hittaut is a health and wellness project coordinated by the Swedish Orienteering Federation and organised on a voluntary basis by local orienteering clubs, with support from sponsors and partners. The project has been running for 13 years and has attracted thousands of participants to get out to various places and, with the help of a paper or digital map, look for checkpoints.

At each checkpoint there is a code that you can register via an app, with the chance to win great prizes. Participation is free of charge and everyone can take part according to their own abilities, around the clock during the period 1 April to 31 October 2021.

The Red Cross is present in almost every country in the world. The work looks different in Strängnäs and out in the world, but the mission is always the same: the Red Cross is to prevent and alleviate human suffering, wherever it occurs and whoever is affected.
In Strängnäs Municipality there are two Red Cross branches: Strängnäs and Mariefred, as well as the Strängnäs Red Cross Corps. The Red Cross in Stallarholmen is part of the Mariefred branch. Feel free to visit the second-hand shop, the cafés or the Kupan meeting places in Mariefred or Strängnäs.
