Who is the data controller for the processing of your personal data?

The company within the Kilenkrysset group of companies to which you, or the person for whom you are to act as a referee, have applied for work is the data controller for the processing of your personal data described in this information text.

The company that is the data controller for the processing as set out above is referred to below as “Kilenkrysset”, “we” or “us”.

Why do we process your personal data?

We process your personal data primarily to evaluate job applicants and fill positions with us. We may also process your personal data to demonstrate regulatory compliance and to establish, exercise or defend legal claims.

We have a legal obligation to process some of your personal data. We also consider that our interests are legitimate for the stated purposes and that your interests do not outweigh them.

If you are employed by us, we will process your personal data for other purposes, which you will then be informed about.,

What personal data about you do we process?

We process the data that you provide to us, for example:

• name,
• personal identity number,
• gender,
• telephone number,
• email address,
• CV,
• Grades,
• results from any personality tests,
• driving licence details, authorisations, training and certifications,
• details of current and previous employment.

We may also obtain data from the referees that you as a job applicant have provided. The categories of personal data about you as a job applicant that are obtained from referees are typically employer/client, period of employment, work performance, personal qualities, title and areas of responsibility.

We may obtain personal data about referees from job applicants when the applicant applies for a position. The categories of personal data about you as a referee that are obtained are typically name, telephone number, email address, employer/client, title and areas of responsibility.

To whom may Kilenkrysset disclose your personal data?

Kilenkrysset may disclose your personal data to other companies within the Kilenkrysset group of companies, our employees and consultants, our suppliers of IT services, computer systems and financial and legal services, other partners, insurance companies, banks, authorities and other public bodies, and the referees provided.

As a rule, we do not process your personal data outside the EU/EEA. To the extent that your personal data is processed outside the EU/EEA, such processing always takes place in accordance with applicable legislation and in compliance with the prescribed safeguards.

How long do we process your personal data?

We keep the personal data of job applicants whose application has not led to employment with us for as long as any claims arising from the recruitment process can be made against us. Personal data of referees is kept until the recruitment process is completed. Some personal data may be kept for a longer period depending on why the personal data is processed. We may keep your personal data for up to eleven years (or for the duration of any dispute) in order to establish, exercise or defend ourselves against legal claims.

Your rights

You have the right to access the personal data that Kilenkrysset processes. You also have the right to request erasure, rectification or restriction of the processing of your personal data, to object to Kilenkrysset's processing of your personal data, and to receive your personal data from Kilenkrysset in a structured, commonly used and machine-readable format for transfer to another provider (data portability).

You always have the right to receive more detailed information about personal data processing that is based on a balancing of interests (see below) and to object to such processing.
