On 1 April 2021 Kilenkrysset AB signed a new lease agreement with H&M for the property Grönsta 2:48 in Svista, Eskilstuna. The property has a floor area of approx. 24,000 sq m divided between warehouse and offices and has been H&M’s distribution centre in Sweden since 2002. In addition to the existing area, the lease agreement includes an extension of approx. 17,000 sq m, expected to be completed in 2022.

In addition to a larger floor area, the conversion includes an investment in more modern technology, well suited to an advanced warehouse and logistics operation, which gives H&M the opportunity to increase its capacity and achieve a more modern warehouse structure. A faster, more flexible and more efficient product flow is an important factor in meeting consumer needs as shopping habits change. The property’s offices and staff areas will also be modernised and updated, which contributes to an even more optimised and attractive working environment. The distribution centre in Eskilstuna will continue to supply H&M’s stores across Sweden and, after the extension, will also supply Norway and Iceland.
