Kilenkrysset and Logicenters are once again entering into a partnership. Together, the parties will develop a 120,000 m² land area in Staffanstorp in Skåne, outside Malmö. Logicenters has the option to build on 60,000 m² of the area and initially plans to construct a modern 24,000 m² logistics property next year. At present there are no contracted tenants.
After several joint land development projects, including one in Bålsta earlier this year, it is now clear that Kilenkrysset and Logicenters are joining forces again. This time it concerns the land development of a 120,000 m² area in Staffanstorp, outside Malmö. Logicenters will take possession of the land at the beginning of 2020, and buildings can be constructed on up to 60,000 m² of the total land area. In the initial phase of the project, Logicenters intends to develop a logistics property of approx. 24,000 m² of lettable area on speculation, with construction starting before summer 2020 and expected completion at the beginning of 2021.
“One of Logicenters' main strengths is that we offer modern logistics facilities in the most strategically important locations in the regions where we operate. This establishment in Staffanstorp, with its attractive location outside Malmö and its proximity to the Continent, is further proof of this. The land acquisition in Staffanstorp is an important piece of the puzzle for us, and it will be exciting to carry out the land development together with Kilenkrysset, with whom we have had many good collaborations before,” says Matthias Kettelhoit, Head of Logicenters.
The acquired land area is located on Västanvägen in Kronoslätt Företagspark. With its proximity to Malmö and the Øresund region, the area's geographical location is very attractive to many different types of companies. Companies such as Bring Frigo, Kuehne + Nagel and Microsoft have previously chosen to establish themselves in the business park.

In August Microsoft chose to buy from us in the same area, and earlier this year we extended the lease agreement with Alfa Laval for their head office, so we are seeing strong demand from companies wanting to establish themselves in the region. That is why it is both gratifying and valuable to enter into a partnership with Logicenters again,” says Jan Persson, Chairman of the Board of Kilenkrysset, who also says that the good cooperation with Staffanstorp Municipality makes this positive development possible and that land for smaller logistics establishments is still available.
