The property development companies Bockasjö and Kilenkrysset, through their jointly owned company, have signed an agreement with Åhléns to build a new 37,500 sq m logistics centre in Rosersberg, outside Stockholm. Åhléns will lease the logistics centre on a long-term lease agreement.
Groundworks start immediately, and the new, highly automated logistics centre will be ready for occupancy in late autumn 2021.
The new logistics centre will be owned by the company that Bockasjö and Kilenkrysset each own 50% of. The logistics centre can be expanded with a further approx. 10,000 sq m. The investment in construction, including the extension, amounts to approx. SEK 650 m.
– To land a deal this large in these difficult times is a show of strength in many ways. We are pleased to have Åhléns as a partner and tenant in this new logistics centre, which will be environmentally certified after completion under the BREEAM In-Use standard.
