On 3 December 2020, Kilenkrysset completed the sale of 100,000 sq m of land to Finja in Strängnäs.
“Right from the start, Strängnäs was a strategic choice of location for us, as it places us closer to the market in the large and growing Mälardalen region. Through this acquisition we secure future opportunities for expansion in Strängnäs,” says Bengt Widstrand, CEO of Finja Betong AB.
The land area, with the property designation Strängnäs Malmby 1:24, is zoned for industrial purposes and lies directly adjacent to the buyer's established factory site. Since 2019 the company has operated a production facility on the site, producing dry mortar in both bags and bulk. The whole facility currently has 25 employees.
“We are very pleased to be able to provide this land area to a strong player in its industry that also sees a coming phase of expansion.
