Kilenkrysset is selling 72,000 sq m of zoned land in Svista Logistics Area, Eskilstuna Municipality. The buyers, Nordsten Development and BlackRock Real Assets, will jointly develop a logistics facility.
Through its subsidiary and logistics platform Talaria Development, Nordsten Development has been commissioned by BlackRock to develop a generic logistics facility of 36,000 sq m in Eskilstuna. For the project, the property Grönsta 1:34, of approximately 72,000 sq m, has been acquired from Kilenkrysset through a corporate transaction. The property is located in Svista Logistics Area with a direct connection to the E20.

The property we are divesting to BlackRock lies in an area of Eskilstuna that is exactly the right location for a new logistics facility. One of the largest clothing chains in the Nordic region has already established its logistics facility in the area, which shows how attractive the logistics location is, says Jan Persson, CEO, owner and Chairman of the Board of Kilenkrysset.
The logistics facility, with a strong focus on sustainability and quality, is being built on a speculative basis and prepared for one or two tenants. Construction starts immediately, and the facility is expected to be completed and available to tenants in the third quarter of 2023.
